RACER X To Commence Work On New Album

The reunited RACER X, featuring JUDAS PRIEST drummer Scott Travis, ex-MR. BIG guitarist Paul Gilbert, and ex-BADLANDS drummer Jeff Martin (on vocals!),are scheduled to enter Batgirl Studio in Las Vegas, Nevada in September to record a new CD for a Christmas 2002 Japanese release. According to Gilbert, "Jeff Martin, John Alderete, Scott Travis, and I will be using EVERY NOTE WE KNOW to make a killer METAL follow-up to our last studio CD, Superheroes. Can we do it? Is ABBA from Sweden? Can Godzilla crush a building? Do sharks have big teeth? I say YES."
